Overview

The EGO 56V 5.0Ah ARC Lithium™ Battery uses industry-leading technology to deliver Power Beyond Belief™. Its patented ARC Lithium™ design keeps the battery from overheating by pushing heat away so your equipment runs longer at full power. Its durable, shock-resistant design protects batteries from drops and the elements. Intelligent power management monitors and optimizes each individual battery cell to maximize power, performance, and runtime. This 5.0Ah battery features a fuel gauge with built-in indicator lights that show how much runtime is remaining in 20 percent increments. The 5.0Ah battery fully charges in 30 minutes with the EGO POWER+ Turbo Charger (CH7000), 40 minutes with the Rapid Charger (CH5500), 70 minutes with the 320W Charger (CH3200), and 100 minutes with the Standard Charger (CH2100). Two 5.0Ah batteries will fully charge in 80 minutes with the EGO Power+ Dual-Port Charger (CH2800D). With the industry’s most advanced battery technology, every EGO tool delivers or exceeds the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss, or fumes.

The EGO POWER+ Rapid Charger features an intelligent battery control system that monitors each cell's charge and temperature to deliver the quickest, most efficient charge. Its active cooling fan system and advanced communication with the battery supports rapid charging without overheating for maximum battery life. Its rapid recharging capability ensures limited downtime with any EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery. It has an integrated fuel gauge that shows five charge levels in 20 percent increments. From zero, it can fully charge a 2.5Ah battery in as little as 30 minutes, 4.0Ah in 30 minutes, 5.0Ah in 40 minutes, 6.0Ah in 45 minutes, 7.5Ah in 60 minutes, 10.0Ah in 70 minutes, and 12.0Ah in 90 minutes (all charge times are approximate). The EGO POWER+ Rapid Charger charges all EGO POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium batteries.
